Drove activities cancelled

Just in case any readers were intending to join us drovers along the route next week, I'm afraid to say that because of some sad circumstances, the journey has had to be postponed.

More news will follow in due course.

A very interesting post, Linda. I had never heard about the coffin roads until my recent coast to coast hike across England, during which we often walked along some of the old coffin roads. I am also fascinated by your friend's creation of burial shrouds. Preferring all things natural, I think it is a great concept. In my country, however, natural burials are generally prohibited, if memory serves me correctly.

I'm not sure on the technicalities, but I think that Scotland is the easier place regarding natural funerals, than England.
